This is the NEW TELLER TALES! It is now Tales of Teller Honestly, I locked myself out of Teller Tales and had to create this new and improved blog. My husband and I decided to take a risk, pack it up and here we are, the village of TELLER... in ALASKA... in the Bush...on a Spit. Population 350 or so. Surrounded by the Bering Sea, Bering Straits. Turkey Anyone?
I was preparing 4 turkeys for the Christmas for the Village festival. I almost died when I saw this price tag. This is more than expensive, it is shocking, even for Alaska. If there were any vegetables up here, I would consider going vegetarian. Actually, they are expensive too. I weighed a sweet potato at the store and it was 5.00. It is cheaper to have someone buy them in the 48 and flat rate box mail them to me.
